2012

In early 2012, we were awarded an AHRC Research Networking Grant, which enables us to host a more sustained series of public events, screenings and conferences. Our first symposium in March brought together academics and industry professionals in dialogue on the subject of the distribution and exhibition of Chinese and Asian film in the UK. Debate was lively and it was encouraging to note the participation of the general public once again. Another symposium and an international conference are planned for 2013, alongside other film screenings and public events.
